"Whispers of the Unseen"

I stand in the middle of a wide bridge. Beneath me is not a river, but a thick fog, so dense it feels like water. The night is warm. Lanterns glow with a soft amber light. It shimmers in the wind, making the air golden. I take a step forward and notice that the bridge is gradually disappearing behind me, as if dissolving. I walk on until I see a figure ahead. It sits at the edge of the bridge, its legs dangling into the fog. As I approach, the figure vanishes, leaving behind a small wooden box. I pick it up. The box is light and smells of fresh wood. I open the lid and see a tiny clock inside. It glows with a soft blue light. The hands move backward, as if time is returning. I touch the glass of the clock, and the world around me changes. The bridge disappears. I stand in a field covered in dew. The grass is cold, yet pleasant. The sky glows with a green light, like the northern lights, only closer and softer. A huge door appears ahead. Just a door. No walls, no house. It stands in the middle of the field. I approach, grasp the handle, and open it. Behind the door is an ocean. The waves are enormous but quiet. The water is warm. I step inside and find myself on the surface. I can stand as if on an invisible platform beneath my feet. A white whale flies in from the sea. It glows. It swims past me, and I touch its back with my hand. The skin is smooth and warm. From my touch, a golden wave spreads across the water. The whale slowly descends into the depths. The water becomes clear. I see an entire world beneath me. Glowing cities. A forest of corals. Huge creatures swimming in silence. Everything is calm and beautiful. Then the ocean begins to lighten. The color shifts from blue to white. The world dissolves like smoke. And I wake up, feeling the silence that seems to have come from that dream.
