"Between Worlds"

I stand on the shore of a lake. The water is clear as glass, reflecting the sky so perfectly that it feels as if I am standing between two worlds. The air is cool and fresh. I lean down, touching the water with my fingertips, and I see soft blue circles spreading across the surface. They drift away and suddenly transform into glowing fish. The fish rise, ascending higher, and begin to soar through the air like birds. I walk along the shore and notice a boat. It is small and very light, as if made of light itself. I sit in it, and the boat gently pushes off from the shore. The water is silent. Everything happens quietly, almost unreal. In the center of the lake, a column of light appears. It rises down from the water and ascends up into the sky. The boat pulls me directly toward it. As I get closer, the light becomes warm. It envelops me like a soft blanket. I stand and take a step directly into the light. At that moment, the lake disappears. Beneath my feet are soft clouds. I stand at a height, and around me float enormous birds with silver wings. They move slowly, majestically. One bird approaches closer. I extend my hand, and it touches me with its beak. At that moment, the world around dissolves, transforming into a stream of bright sparks. I fall into this light, but not downwards, rather inward into myself. And I feel a quiet, deep calm. Then everything disappears.
